EX.1Full band — indie rock four-piece
Bio
The Midnight Proof is a four-piece indie rock band from Austin, TX, playing garage-rock energy under shoegaze guitars. Formed in 2022, they've grown from open-mic slots to selling out Mohawk's indoor room, and were picked for Spotify's Fresh Finds Rock in 2025. Live, they're tighter than the record — which is the point.

EX.3Singer-songwriter — small numbers, framed honestly
Bio
Jonah Vale writes spare Americana in the lineage of Jason Molina and Adrianne Lenker. His 2025 EP "County Lines" was cut live to tape in a single weekend, and NPR's local affiliate called it "the kind of record Asheville used to make." He plays solo or as a duo with pedal steel, and can hold a listening room without a setlist.

What all three examples have in common
- Three-sentence biosGenre + city, trajectory or credibility, and what the live show delivers. Nobody reads paragraph four.
- One live video above everythingBookers click live footage first. Each kit puts it in the first scroll.
- Numbers without spinReal counts, including small ones. A fake-vague "growing fanbase" reads worse than an honest 900.
- One booking email, high contrastThe entire kit exists to make this one line get used.
- One pageEvery example fits a single sheet. Attachments that need scrolling get skimmed; one-sheets get read.
